medical students

one of the ongoing projects in the Lee lab @ stanford hospital has been to look at the impact that an optinoal simulator-based course may have on preclinical medical students with respect to technical skills and also fostering an interest in procedure-based specialties, and specifically, vascular surgery. please see the accepted paper in the Journal of Surgical Education.

This video is of the assessment session done at the completion of the course offered in its most recent iteration in the spring of 2009. The medical students are being guided by several residents and also a research assistant from the lab.
